NOthing more beautiful than a pregnant woman

I had the pleasure of taking pics of a friend that I knew as a young girl through HS. She was pregnant with her second baby boy and she looked absolutely radiant. We had a great time with the pics, her first born son was also there to make it more of a fun time. It was hard narrowing it down to a few favorites for me, that is always the hard part for me. This week on www.iheartfaces.com the theme is flowers. I thought how perfect to shoot  my son River Dylan Flowers. He is 1yr old and all he wants to do is play. A Beautiful Hike

Everyday as I am running this trail I often look around at all the magnificent scenery wanting to photograph it all. However, I am running/hiking for a workout and I know if I bring my camera I would never even get my heartrate up because all I would do is take pictures. Since I already went for my run today, I made an exception. I went back with my camera and my favorite subject. The sun was going down behind the mountain rather fast but I was able to get plenty of good shots where there was good light. I now have an excese to go back and shoot again.

My first Mothers Day

Last year I wanted to have given birth to River before or at least ON Mothers Day so I could celebrate it. Well my little man already had a mind of his own and he decided the day he was to be born. He was born the day AFTER Mothers Day. So this year I got to enjoy being a mommy on mothers day. Here are some pictures of our day. We went and spent the day with my mother in law and the family. It was a good day. The only thing I would've asked to add would be to have had my mom there too. Enjoy our pics.

Lauren came for a visit the other day. As always we have a wonderful time with her. River had so much fun playing in the backyard with her. He was throwing his toys in the hole and then they just got in the hole to play! Lauren Landers we LOVE you!!!

Even the dogs love Lauren and her visits!
