My full time jobs right now include being a mommy and a wife. When those jobs are complete I am able to book photoshoots.I love every different photoshoot. THey are never the same, even if at the same place or of the same person. THere is always a different energy. I love to show that through my work. I love to capture moments in time as often as possible. Inside this blog will be a glimpse into the life of me, my family, friends and a lot of nature too. Thanks for looking, I hope you enjoy!

I heart Faces Silhouette entry
THis week at www.iheartfaces.com their weekly photo contest is Silhouettes. I am a sucker for the magic a silhouette creates. I am still learning how to get a good one, but this is one of my recent faves. THis is my beautiful(inside and out) friend of 20yrs, the light hit her just right and I just so happened to be lucky enough to capture this beauty. I will be spending hours looking at all the gorgeous silhouette photos everyone at www.iheartfaces.com have posted and I suggest you do the same. There is so much talent there!!!

A Beautiful Family
I had the pleasure of shooting an amazing family last week. THey are not only beautiful on the outside, but amazing and fun on the inside too. They have 2 preteen girls and boy are the a riot. I had no trouble getting them to have fun with the camera and with me, if only all of my shoots were so easy. ha I sure had a hard time narrowing pics down here so forgive me in advance if there are a lot of pics on this post. Thanks for looking and I hope you enjoy the pics. I was also excited because it was the first shoot with my very own 85mm f/1.2L lens. I waited so long to get this lens and it was worth every moment waited too. :-)

Welcome Myles Galan
I am behind on my blogging so this little newborn is a few months old now. There is nothing more precious than a beautiful, squishy, sweet smelling newborn baby! I hope you will enjoy this gorgeous baby boy and I bet if you look close enough you can smell that sweet smell of him too. My dear friend Suzie and her family are so blessed with him and 2 other amazing children, adn I am blessed to get to know them. <3 Thanks for looking,
The Patton Family
I had the honor of taking pics of the Patton family. I knew Sara when we were litle girls, her sister and I were friends. Well her sister asked me if I would take family pics for them because they had never had real family pics taken before and that her husband Norman was going to be deployed to Afghanistan for 9months. I was instantly nervouse because I wanted to make these really special family photos for them to have while Norman is gone. I felt honored and nervous at the same time, ha. I hope that these pictures are special to them and thay they help while Norman is away fighting for our country. Thanks Patton Family! XO
I always like to get a pic of the scenery while on a shoot too, this one was a nice crescent moon
thanks for looking and thanks for the BLOG love!
